Chapter 28 Scholarship Program
Chapter 28 is proud to invest in the future of our community by providing annual scholarships to eligible students. Our scholarship program recognizes academic achievement, community involvement, leadership, and a commitment to service while supporting students as they pursue higher education or vocational training.
Scholarship Purpose
The scholarship program is intended to assist eligible students with the cost of continuing their education while encouraging service to veterans, their families, and the local community.
Eligibility
- High school senior or current college student
- Resident of Kokomo or North Central Indiana area
- Direct relative of a veteran (preferred) or active community volunteer
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
- Enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution
Application Process
- Review the eligibility requirements
- Complete the scholarship application
- Submit all required supporting documents
- Applications are reviewed by the Chapter Scholarship Committee
- Recipients are approved by DAV Chapter 28
